USER AUTHENTIFICATION
Each user has a unique username and password that is encrypted via SSL during transmission. An encrypted session ID cookie is useld only to record authentification information. Cookies are not used to store confidential user and session information, which are done through more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.
APPLICATION SECURITY
The application is structured so that no VanillaSoft customer can access another customer’s data, ever.
INTERNAL SYSTEMS SECURITY
Advanced security technology is used to protect server access. In addition, our database servers, and your data, are not directly available from the public internet.
SERVER AND DATA RELIABILITY
All customer data is stored on world-class redundant storage RAID disks. Backups are carried out every half hour, and tapes are stored offsite in a secure, fire-resistant location.
PHYSICAL SECURITY
Our hosting center has redundant electrical generators with a 3-day fuel supply, redundant air conditioning units, video surveillance, badge-only access, and state of the art water and fire detection systems.
